As well as benefits to members, we also seek to provide the public with safe, highly qualified therapists who are experts in their field. All our full members have insurance to practice, abide by our strict Code of Conduct & Ethics and sign up to our Disciplinary Policy. Our members also update their skills annually.


The Procedure

 

In order to join, you will need to download the application form below and send us copies of your qualification, insurance (if you already have this organised) and relevant fee. When your application is accepted you will receive a certificate of membership (student and full members). Full members will also receive a free AAPA lapel badge. Extra badges are available for £3.00 each (inclusive of P&P). If you are newly qualified you only need download and complete page 1 of the Membership Application Form Experienced therapists need to complete page 2 as well as they will have CPD points.

If you want to join us but would prefer to pay by credit card you can now. All you have to do is CLICK HERE and complete your application form. Click submit to send it. Remember you then need to pay by ticking the box for Paypal payment and then follow the link to make your payment.

Students pay a flat rate of £20.00 for the life of their course.

Full members pay £50 a year from October 1st to 30th September.

If you apply in January the fee is £37.50.

If you apply in April it is £25.00

If you apply in July you pay £50.00 upto September 30th of the following year

Leaflets and Extra Badges

If you want to check that your qualification is acceptable for aromatherapy click here for a quick guide to the Aromatherapy Council's Core Curriculum and compare your qualification to the required minimum standard for a practitioner level qualification. Remember that experience can be added to an older qualification to enable you to meet the required standard (APEL) and if in doubt email or call for advice.
